The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore 5 stars

Hotel in Marina Bay, Singapore

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is located in downtown Marina Bay, Singapore. The view from our room of the Marina Bay was spectacular! The bathroom had a full circular window by the bath to enjoy the gorgeous light shows at night or press a button and a screen covered the view. The bathroom has a separate WC / toilet. The toiletries were excellent and a proper powerful hairdryer was provided. The bedroom was huge, - four seater couch, circular table, writing desk, super king bed exceedingly comfortable, another large piece of furniture containing, facilities for tea etc, champagne, wine, tumbler glasses, drinks and snacks, fridge and empty drawers for occupier’s use. The walk-in wardrobe also contained the safe, ironing board, iron, umbrella and torch. Bottled water was supplied every day ( a card was provided to indicate if more of anything was needed - we asked for extra water and towels and never had to ask again...) a turn-down service at night was a pleasant extra. The number of staff in all the areas of the hotel meant that any service or enquiry was promptly addressed - nothing was too much trouble. The pool is lovely to enjoy with fabulously comfortable canopied beds, big towels, serviced by gracious staff and the pool water’s temperature is welcoming and silky. The buffet at lunch has to be enjoyed to be believed! It is so good and so affordable that we were sorry that we had gone out to dinner at other places during our week’s stay. It is a fabulous hotel that while expensive to us, was worth every penny and we’d return as they say ‘in a New York minute!’

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

快乐时时彩官方网站Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

快乐时时彩官方网站For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.
